INDIA, Bangalore Storytelling Society participarán en el V Encuentro Internacional de Historias para cambiar el mundo, 2015

Bangalore Storytelling Society (BSS) is a not-for-profit collective registered in 2013 that has simply gathered all story lovers - tellers and listeners in Bangalore under one roof.

As part of our outreach, we conduct storytelling sessions and workshops in the city. One such initiative is Heads & Tales which is a family storytelling session every 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month.

This Sunday, 21st June, we will be telling not one but four stories back-to-back at an iconic space in Bangalore called Rangasthala Auditorium, bang in the middle of the city. The stories mark 3 events : Yoga Day, Music Day and Father's Day.

We encourage families to come. These stories are meant for everyone: mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts, uncles..and children!

There will be four storytellers telling stories between 4.30 & 5.30 pm on 21st June 2015.
  • Deeptha Vivekanand will using Yoga in her story
  • Sowmya Srinivasan will be telling a story filled with the rich melodies of Carnatic Indian Music.
  • Rashmi Kulkarni will regale us with a  special Father's Day story
  • Priya Muthukumar shares a story with Anansi the trickster in a fatherly role!
